Lets try this again

August 24th.
1st day of the 5 weeks of intense marathon pace work. 7 weeks out from Chicago

Monday
two runs of 12/6 miles each. Recovery from the race saturday.

Tuesday
8 x 10 second uphill runs.
15 miles total and feeling recovered.

Wednesday
14 miles very easy all on dirt trails

Thursday

6 x 800 with 2 minutes rest all were 2:25 to 2:29. I was hoping to run a bit faster but legs just haven't gotten used to the miles yet

Friday

3 x 2 mile.

10:25/10:35/10:12
A decent workout.

Coming back well though. 5 minute rest.

Saturday
14 miles easy

Sunday
23 miles easy. Felt really easy throughout the run.

116 miles for the week.

Getting going and feeling better. Big weeks the next month.
